This week Year 2 have been learning a range of art skills ready to create their masterpieces, which will be sold at The Salvation Army on 11th July to raise money for our school charity, The Piam Brown Unit at Sounthampton Hospital.
First we learnt all about colour mixing and how to make different shades of green
Then we used this knowledge to create the background of our rainforest masterpieces. We painted eaves and printed them onto paper. Next week we will paint in the details such as vines and flowers.
