Learning to type is an important skill. Learning to touch type – using the correct fingers without looking at the keyboard – is hugely enabling and really speeds up children’s ability to write quickly. Regular practise really speeds up the learning process so why not encourage your child to have a go at home? Don’t forget, it’s really important to make sure they use the correct fingers so that bad habits don’t develop.
