Year 3 Learn to Touch Type

Learning to type is an important skill. Learning to touch type – using the correct fingers without looking at the keyboard – is hugely enabling and really speeds up children’s ability to write quickly. Year 3 have been learning this skill alongside their other curriculum subjects and it is great to see how quickly many are progressing.

Regular practise really speeds up the learning process so why not encourage your child to have a go at home? Don’t forget, it’s really important to make sure they use the correct fingers so that bad habits don’t develop.
