This week, Year 3 launched their topic, ‘Could You Survive The Rainforest?’ by exploring the different types of exotic animals that live there. The children were incredibly excited to meet the expert, who brought in a selection of beautiful animals that could be found at different layers of the rainforest. This included an orchid mantris, a blue tongued lizard, a tarantula, a snake, a scorpion and also a rainforest owl! The children had the opportunity to hold some of these creatures if they were feeling brave enough!
