Year 2 have started their Spring term off with a bang! They have completed a number of science experiements all about different materials, classifying them and their uses and seeing how they can change.
They looked at irreversible change and fair testing by baking cupcakes with Mrs Lord
With Mrs Packer, they looked at which materials could insulate a snowman to stop it from melting
Making a plasticine ship that floated and could carry cargo was the challenge with Mr Magrath
And it was all about squashing, bending, twisting and stretching with Mrs Brown
We learnt a lot, asked and answered lots of questions and shared our own knowledge this week, it was so much fun!
