Year 3 have loved learning about the Stone Age this half term in our topic ‘Savage Stone Age’. They have learnt a lot in their topic lessons about how hunter gathers lived: including what they used to make tools and clothes, what their homes were like and the types of things they would eat.
To celebrate all the learning they have done, Year 3 invited the local community to the court yard for their landing where they displayed their art work and shared the stone aged themed food they had prepared. Year 3 made bread using the pizza ovens in the court yard and an apple and black berry chutney which they chopped, mixed and cooked. It was very yummy!
Thank you to everybody who joined us!
