As part of their topic on fairy tales, the children planned their very own character glove puppets. Before any making was done, lots of questions had to be answered: What will I need? How will I make it? How will I know that it’s fit for purpose? Detailed plans were written and drawn. Once the designing stage was over, the children began sewing their fantastic puppets. By the time that they’d finished, everyone was a running stitch champion!
Last of all it was time to decorate their characters with anything that could be found.
Finally the children were delighted with their incredible puppets and thinking about their first show!
