Year 3 travellled back through time to the ancient world and came to school dressed as a person who lived in the Stone Age, they all looked brilliant!
They started their day by imagining it was 12,000 BC and Britain was beginning to warm after the Ice Age. They got into character by imagining they lived a hunter-gather life style and what it was like to live in an enviroment where language hasn’t been developed yet. The children then created a cave painting that told a story, and could only use sticks and paint brush ends to paint their picture!
The children also made some decorative Stone Age jewellery out of clay.
