On the final day of school, before the October half term, Year 5 invited their families into school to browse their exhibition of Greek topic work. The work that was shown included their home learning projects, an object that was part of everyday Greek life, and from their own research conducted within topic afternoons.
Each class chose a different aspect of Ancient Greece, voted and selected by the class, and then each child was able to choose how they would present their information. They were able to choose between using different forms of technology, non-chronological reports, leaflets, paintings and or models.
On behalf of the pupils and the rest of the teaching staff I would like to thank all those that came to see our exhibition. The children thoroughly enjoyed showing off their work and sharing all the excellent knowledge of Ancient Greek life they had learnt.
