As last half term drew to a close Year 2 worked on their sculpting skills as they finished off their wildlife topic by making clay hedgehogs. This was a tricky artistic task and this is how they went about it. They started by rolling their clay into a ball…
Then they squashed the clay, pinched a nose and made the eyes.
Finally, it was time for creating the spines.
The end result was fantastic!
