Children in Plum and Pear class had their first lesson using laptops today and, for many, this was a whole new experience! Unlike iPads, laptop screens don’t do much when when you prod them, so the children had to learn how to use a trackpad to move the pointer and ‘left click’ to make things happen. Their task was to help Lecky the Alien copy pictures by selecting the correct coloured brush and clicking in the correct area of the picture to colour it. This took quite a lot of skill but, by the end of the lesson, the children had really mastered it. Next week, they’ll have a go at dragging and dropping!
