On Monday Mrs Hammersley rushed to give us the news that during the day a letter had been delivered to Year 5 and we had to read it straight away.
We all congregated in the big hall where Mrs Gadsby read us the letter. We were amazed to hear about the remains of a greek soldier being found and that the Museum needed our help.
As a result, in our classes we have chosen an area of Ancient Greece to further study. This alongside our Home Learning projects will enable us to exhibit a fantastic and well researched display around the Ancient Greeks including information such as Greek life, Hoplite soldiers and art.
