On Monday we held our annual Harvest Festival. During the assembly we considered the Christian festival of Harvest and looked at how it had changed over the last few hundred years as society has changed. Children gave good ideas as to how farming and shopping have changed in this timescale. We concluded by looking at how we, as a school community, use the celebration to support the work of organisations who help people who are less fortunate. The huge amount of food we collected will go to the local Food Bank to help families in need. Thank you to everyone for their generous donations.
